mobiles.co.uk insurance
Hi,
I was pick pocketed of my new phone on Saturday, within minutes of this happening and not being able to get through I barred it via Vodafone, the following day I contacted the police and obtained a crime reference number and have since called up the insurance (through mobiles.co.uk) and they have taken details from me but also want to call me back at 7pm tonight to get more information.
Please can anyone advise me as to if the insurance will cover the phone being pick pocketed?
I was at an event and could feel someones hand in my pocket, although it was very busy so could not see who had taken it!!
Any advice would be appreciatd!
Thanks in advance!

You are covered:
The Phone Care policy safeguards your new phone against theft . . . . . . . . .
Pickpocket is known as Theft from Person covered in the Theft Act 1968.
From here:
http://!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!/faq-insurance.html
Basically there FAQ's on their site.
You need to make it 100% clear, if it is the case of course, that you know the phone was there and felt it being taken and there was no way it was lost etc.0 -
Ah thanks very much for your help! Just out of interest was that reference within the PDF T&Cs? Or somewhere else on the site as I couldn't see it!
Thanks again!:-)0 -

No problem, there is a thanks button on posts you find helpful.
You go to Help & Support on top right and the click Insurance option.
For future reference it is always worth having a saved screen shot or printout of all relevant T&C's as they do change them from time to time, especially if you're on a cashback deal!0 -
Just wanted to say thanks again for your advice - my claim went through and will be receiving the new phone on Wednesday!0
