Yeah, thanks for the misinformation  I did a round trip of 20 miles to my nearest large Tescos only to find they didn't know what I was talking about.
Maybe you should check your facts before posting and wasting people's time like that

A simple and quick phone call to your nearest large Tesco would have saved you a 20 mile round-trip! and ... well ... you know ... it's best to check your facts first before you turn up at a store and start yapping on about a deal that they are completely unaware of ... oh, and add to that wasting some CS reps time ;):D
I can say whatever I like here ... 'cos no one can see me .. ner ner ner ner ner !!!....

How do you know I ain't sitting here butt naked?!?!

I thunk I've made you think for a minute!

Isn't it the responsibility of the person acting on the information to research the information for themselves?
The way some people on this forum attack other posters must surely put some members off posting altogether.

Oh my gosh:eek: not a whole 20 miles, that must have taken all of 30 mins of your day and given your post at 1408 i can see you are clearly an extremely important, busy person to have such a time of the day off

Get a grip, except you spent £1 of petrol a get on with your life

    Thats nice!

So if I were to tell you that Harrods were selling Playstation 3s two days early and at only £99 would you be heading down there right now? Or would you phone first to make sure they are and have stock?

Constantine posted the offer to give us all a heads up, he just got the dates mixed up, Tesco will be selling them at that price at some point, if making a 20 mile trip really means that much to you, shouldnt you have called the store first like most other people on here have?

When the offer does start, I would advise you call the store first, 2 minute call compared to 20 mile trip? mmmm, tough call that!

No- let's stick to the FACTS shall we, he got the date wrong AND more importantly, the model. The one it actually is is inferior to the model he stated, so even if it they had them in stock I wouldn't have bought this different model.

rapidly getting back on track. I am a sat nav virgin :D Can someone tell me, do all sat navs 'talk' to you - like tell you where to go, or is it a glorified map where you have to look at the thing to see where you have to go.

I feel incredibly stupid asking this question, but here goes. Be gentle with me ...........

Good point, lets stick to the facts..
(I meant to check the model today but forgot...pretty certain that is the correct one).

"Pretty certain it is the correct one" doesnt mean "Its this one"

Constantine was posting this thinking people would be grateful of the heads up on this offer, he probably just saw a leaflet or something while at work and thought it may be of interest to people on here (and judging by the amount of thanks of the original post, it was)

He admitted he had posted it from memory and apologised for getting it wrong before your post.

Also, did you just read the first post and none of the others?

It seems to me that there were several posts before 9am today saying that it was still scanning at full price, also one at 10:23 from jeff correcting the model number.

If its your ignorance to blame for your wasted trip, dont take it out on the OP.

I did ring my local Tescos before going down and asked if they had stock of the special offer Medion Satnav and was told they had 20-30 but when I arrived no one knew anything about the offer until they checked and found out that the reduction was not until the 4th April. So ringing ahead does not necessarily work.
