Getting married in a youth hostel

I'd really not like it. And a whole weekend? If it was me, I'd politely decline.0

Until a couple of years ago I would have said I'd hate it. But then I went to a 50th Birthday party with some friends at a youth hostel in Wales that was an old castle. Yes, the rooms were small dorms but we had such a great time, I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. One thing though, I'd make sure everyone over a certain age has lower bunk beds. Getting out of a top bunk to nip to the loo in the middle of the night after a few drinks proved a little challenging for some people in our group!I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0

I think it's a lovely and pragmatic idea.
This way, a cheerful and economical option is available, and anyone not wanting to participate in the whole "package" for personal/other-commitment reasons has the option of simply opting out or spending more. You can't really reasonably do more than that.0 -
It sounds like my worst nightmare tbh, but each to their own:D"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"
