Yes, many cyclists do jump red lights (which I personally think is suicidal). I don't tar every motorists with the same brush so why do you do the same?
If this was a cyclist courier (with an easy identifiable company logo), I would have done the same and reported the cyclist to the company. It's not always easy to report every offence but in this case this was a professional driver, who should know better!
What are you talking about? I think you are somewhat confused.0 -
I think the OP has a gripe with Arriva in general to be honest!0

I concur. OP, are you filming buses on the off chance that you might just catch one running a light or is there a more 'normal' explanation??0 -

I imagine that the OP is a cyclist wearing a head cam to record any incidents which may cause them harm and thus have evidence needed for further action. Of course it's a damning indictment of the current environment for cycling on the road that a growing number of cyclists feel that they have to do this.0 -

The reasons are perfectly stated by Mids_costcutter. Initially, I didn't have any helmet camera but after a friend of mine was knocked
down by a driver, I decided to get one. The Police didn't do anything due to "lack of evidence" but it was obvious in that case that the driver was at fault.
Unfortunately, the laws in this country don't protect vulnerable road users so many cyclists use helmet cams.0 -
If cyclists all drove cars we wouldn't have any of these problems.
You reckon?

I'm a professional driver, I'm back down to 6 (having been on 12, with court exemption for 18 months in the last 3 years). 1 of them was for using the phone, the other was for 82mph on the M4.
Seriously though, I don't personally feel that the driver was dangerous, in exactly the same manner as I don't feel 84mph on a motorway is dangerous.
