If you had bothered to read the original posting, this is not the first occasion that stuff has not been delivered,or has been delayed to my parents house.
I'm glad the CEO's minions have generated you the Standard Reply but I doubt it actually means much ;-)0 -
Mr Crozier works for the RM, something like 1 or 2 days a week. I imagine he's got better things to do than respond to emails personally.0

I've had a few important things go missing too, come to think of it. Was sent a letter from my university (an hour away) for an induction day when I first started. I recieved it the day after the induction day.
And the other day I recieved a bill dated Feb 27th. Thankfully the date to pay hadn't passed yet."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

This isn't necessarily Royal Mails fault, sometimes it can take a company up to 10 days to print and post the bill out to you, so even thought the date on your bill was 27 it may not have been printed and posted until after 10 March. I have found this problem with NTL in the past, the date being 5th of the month but not receiving it until approx. 15th.
As for baddie post wo/men there are actually quite allot of good ones out there. I have no complaints with mine, he always has a smile and always say good morning, even if its afternoon lol but he does a good job and these days we don't get 'ripped' mail.
Well done Mr Crozier for sending such a nice polite friendly mail back, lets hope his word is as good and he manages to get something sorted out for the OP.0 -

Even though the online tracking system says it's never been delivered, they assume it has, until proven otherwise! I think I could do with Mr Croziers email address.
Im a postie and i take great offence at your rather blinkered look at posties. Ive never stolen or opened an item of mail (not belonging to me) in all my time as a postie and wish you and your sort would not tarnish the majority with the few bad eggs.0 -
Can i just say that a customer on my round came to me on Tuesday and asked about a mothers day card sent last week and not arrived by that tuesday, she told me there was money in the card and i said i would give her a number to complain if it hadnt arrived by next few days. On returning to the office i came across lots of mothers day cards in the office which had not been delivered yet due to insufficient postage, this came about because of the new (stupid in my eyes) royal mail pricing policy, most had first class stamps but apparantly this wasnt enough. What would happen then is a card would go through recipients door advising of letter and charge and asking for extra postage costs. My point being just because it has not been delivered and is obviously a card, doesnt mean the postie has stolen it. Sometimes there is an explanation.
When i gave this information to my customer she was extremely grateful and thanked me for my help, at no time did she think i had stolen it though but maybe some people are more trusting and dont think the worst. (Rant Over)0 -

I totally agree with that.
It's like any company/job.There is good and bad everywhere.
I'm a Class 1 HGV driver, and I take offence when people have a go at me,because someone else within my profession, drives badly,or does something that doesn't warrant them holding a licence.

In general our post round here is pretty good but they do have a nasty habit of holding the mail. If there isn't a lot of mail for the various people in the road (there are 23 houses) then the postpeople hold on to them till there is a sufficient amount to be delivered. Sometimes mail is not delivered on a Saturday but with-held until Monday.
Unfortunately we have an ongoing investigation via PostWatch with out service which doesn't seem to be getting anywhere.
But I would like to say that in general the mail around here is pretty okay apart from the odd hiccup. Our problem is the main sorting office...Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️
