I find it odd that a person who was 2 days from death suffering from cancer & obvioulsy on drugs able to sign a letter. I've seen loved ones on morphine days from death & they were deep in sleep. Unable to do anything let alone sign a letter!0

I sympathise with the posters above, and I'm sorry for both your losses - but not all people who are dying need morphine or are 'out of it'. I used to work on a ward that had some palliative care bed, and whilst many of our cancer patients needed high doses of morphine, etc which would have left them unable to read, understand and sign a letter; we had others who were completely of sound mind up until the end. It's really dependent on the person, the illness and the treatment they require. I'm sure the OP has more information and reasons for assuming that the girlfriend has done this maliciously, but it seems a bit premature on our part to be thinking badly of her - she's an 80 year old woman who's just lost her partner and may well be planning to make funeral arrangements herself.0

If he had cancer and signed the letter just two days before he died, I doubt if he was of sound mind as he would have been on a lot of morphine by that point.
Not necessarily - my mum died of cancer and was not given morphine at any time; however, my dad also died of cancer and was on a morphine driver and in a semi-comatose state for about 10 days before he died.0 -
I know someone who takes 300mg mst a day ,oramorph and a phentonol patch and you would not know they had a aspirin..and they are not dying..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0
