HTC Wildfire S

Hello, I am supposed to be buying one tomorrow, been looking around online and feel I would be happy with it.

I have heard that the memory in it is terrible, I am not one for downloading countless apps, would only really be using the phone for calls, texts, taking pictures, searching on google and logging into facebook.

I would be using a 2 gig memory card with it, would that do me for what I would be using it for?

Just want to make sure before I part with £80.

Thank you.

Get a contract if you can, can get for under a tenner a month here:

Re: memory card size - really depends on how much of everything you're gonna put on it. You can pick them up pretty cheap now so check MSE, HUKD etc before buying anything from the High Street

I'm still using my old HTC Wildfire(not S). It's a bit dated now, but still works fine. There are faster phones out there, but all in all, it's fine.

I disagree with the above poster though, I wouldn't take it on at a tenner a month, especially if it's more than a 12 month contract. Sim only deals usually give a much better deal.

    DON'T BUY IT. IT'S RUBBISH.

For £20 extra can get a much better phone in the Acsend G300 from Vodafone.

Yep i agree its rubbish. I can only get 7 apps on mine as its full of bloatware.

Ive got to the stage now where i dont unstall updates (they use too much internal memory).

So is a memory card pointless in them? I have a nokia at the moment and I just transfer everything to my memory card and never really had a problem doing that, is HTC different?

You can always put in a larger SD card and then store your data and apps on there

Depends if you want to put music on your phone and pictures. My music and my pictures go onto my storage card. 4 of my apps will transfer over to my storage card but 3 of them wont move over.

Its the 3 that wont move over and the bloatware thats already loaded that causes me to run out of internal memory.

I could quite easily do without the peep app thats preloaded, monopoly app as well as the latitude lap as well as some of the others that are preloaded but i just cant delete them. I think looking at the android forums you have to 'root' the phone but i aint knowledgable enough to do that.

Just looking at my phone i have 7.51 gb on my SD card. Available space is 6.94 gb.

Ive got loads of room on my storage card. I could fill it with pictures and music to the brim. But if the apps i want to move over wont go... I'm stuck with a internal memory problem.

Facebook for example is preloaded and it wont move over to the storage card.

Gmail, that wont move over either, neither will Youtube. Thats preloaded too. All stuff i dont really use/want/need.
