Not really. Realised poster is probably disabled and thought better of it.

Ah...so anyone else would have been fair game for comment. :rotfl:

Sorry OP, I realise I've sidetracked your thread somewhat.

What kind of disability leaves you able to surf the net, join a forum, log in etc but leaves you unable to use a spell check?

Aww don't let the nasty idiots drive you away. I'd much rather read your posts than the nasty, ignorant posts by some here.
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

Top right of the box that comes up when you click on 'quote' button. It's the button labelled ABC with a ü underneath.

I can't see this at all!

Anyway here are some links to on-line spell checkers that should work on all web sites, not just MSE
    British English for Firefox
Internet explorer with UK English option
    Chrome is built-in

I use the Firefox one and haven't tried the IE or Chrome ones.
Just like MS word, it spell checks as you type, a mis-spelled word has a red wavy line underneath and a right mouse click offers suggestions.

The one you can't see, the ABC with a tick under, is the second link on your list, which asks if you want to install IESpell. It appears on the quick reply in my version of Internet Explorer, so it may be you're using a different browser.

I must say I'm a little shocked by the replies, colin13. I'm a bit of a pedant myself, but most of us on here are a little more tolerant of other people's shortcomings, so don't let 'em get to you.
