I use Norton Internet Security for the wife's computer and, although this entitles me to two extra installations, Avast (the free version) on an old XP computer. I know NIS isn't the resource hog it used to be, but both seem to do the job admirably. I used to use Bulldog, which was cheap where I bought it from, and AVG, but lost faith in both for various techy reasons. No idea why I use two different AVs, except I don't like putting all my eggs in one basket.0

Microsoft Security Essentials - daily automatic scan
Malwarebytes Anti Malware
TuneUp1 - Click Maintenance
Advanced System Care
CCleaner
This may seem a lot but you need more than one to pick up the difficult ones. Don't use more than one at a time.0
