Thanks for that, I will have a look in a minute. What sort of things do you use it for that is different from a normal microwave?0 -

I have a Panasonic combi too, and I love it.
As a cheap comforting filler I will slice potato and onion (sometime leek or any other veg I have) and layer it in a lasagne type dish. Finish with a layer of potato and then fill the dish with hot stock (made with cubes are fine).
Bung it in at 'combi' 160/medium until crispy brown on the top. Towards the end, you can put chicken breasts on the tall metal tray/shelf thingy to cook.
I did buy a new oven when I moved into this house a year ago, but I haven't used it yet :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I have had a combi micro for years, mine gave up the ghost just before christmas and I bought another one, both of mine have been Panny's. My first one was my only oven for 2 years when we had no oven in the kitchen. I still managed to cook for 6 on it with no problem.
Go for it............Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -

it's a microwave plus oven (and grill), so you can cook in any combination of these three methods, as well, of course, use it just as an oven or grill or micro.
I use it for nearly everything..baking, pizzas, jacket pots, roasts, ...all the things taht i used to cook in the main oven (which is not used at all now). This is great, cos it's much cheaper to run than the old bigger oven.0 -
I got the Combi oven today from Aldi's It's going to get some getting used to, but I think I am going to like it. Only problem is that there was no recipe's at all in the user manual. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks, I got there in the end. I had to do a google search to find the model number. I have had a quick look and it's dead helpful. Thanks.
It's odd, because most blokes I know prefer to do their own thing in their own way. I'm different in that I like to have exact instructions and then I follow them to the letter!
