Wanna buy cheap plant pots and containers

I need some good cheap sources for plastic plant pots and containers (about 30) to hide a paved area.
Instore sell them fairly cheaply but they seem to become very brittle after less than a year.
Id like the strong black pots you see small trees and shrubs sold in in garden centres but I cant find anywhere that actually sells those pots.

Hello CitizenBidet
I'll move your thread to the 'Greenfingered' board, where the gardening experts will see it.;)
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

You could try http://www.kaysdiscountgarden.co.uk/ who do all sorts of pots and equipment for reasonable prices.0

What about freecycle I seen them many times going free on there, I assume there the smallish sizes one not big planters type containers.0

Makro, Morrisons, B&Q, Focus.
Keep an eye open for offers, particularly the supermarkets.
They usually get pots in during spring and not only plastic ones. I've seen large square and round containers in all colours including black at a reasonable price.
B&Q have probably got more of a selection than anyone...........even compared to our local garden centre.I wish you......

morrisons under or near the cut flower tables- ask a member of staff to find them for you. 99p for 8 black plastic old cut flower tubs. pots are about 8in wide at base/12 at top, and about 14in tall. sturdy enough to knock holes in bottom with hammer/nail for drainage. excellent.0

I got some of them from Morrisons my advice is to use a drill to make holes for drainage as the plastic can break easily. There not fancy looking though but if hidden out of way they okay0

i got some really nice looking ones 99p stores last year in packs of two with several different styles , they have them again this year.Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j0

I bought some from Instore last year and they are still ok. Bought lots more for this year. Mine were used for annuals so I empties them out and stored them in my shed during the winter. This year I plan on using them for growing courgettes and cucumbers.0 -
Try Car Boot Sales - I manage to get most of mine there!0
