mobiles.co.uk upgrade for T-Mobile question

Hi all

Question about upgrading a T-mobile contract via mobiles.co.uk. I'm interested on Samsung Galaxy S3 which is available on mobiles.co.uk for new customers on £26 a month contract, 300 mins, 750MB internet.

I want to know if it is likley to be the same deal for upgrade customers. I ask this becuase the same deal is available for new customers on buymobilephones.net but its £99.99 for the handset for T-Mobile upgrade. I called the mobiles.co.uk upgrades number but they arn't open on Saturday.

I know I can port my T-Mobile number to PAYG get deal as new customer and new port number back but I'd rather just upgrade if possible.

Thanks

Ok I had the same dilemma, I had to cancel and order a a new customer, with mobiles.co.uk. Apprently they get more money to sign new customers up hence the price difference

Really annoyed with this. I left work early so I could speak to mobiles.co.uk regarding the above t-mobile upgrade. After being on hold for at least 15 mins costing 10p per minute I was told that they don't do t-mobile upgrades. I asked why does it say call this number for t-mobile upgrades on your website, only to be told I'm not sure....

buymobilephones.net are charging £99.99 for the handset. Had a look on t-mobile for new customers it's £150.00. I doubt they will be negotiable on this.

Have you tried phoning t-mobile to see if they will do you any deals? If not then speak to cancellations and ask them. Failing that request your PAC and see if you get a call from retentions who will be more likely to offer a deal.

Thanks for the suggestion. I doubt think t-mobile value me as a customer. I have been with them since 2003 but very rarely incur extra charges. I came to the end of my minimum term of contract in October last year. I called retentions in February trying to get a deal for the iPhone 4S, they didn't bother and gave me my PAC straight away. I just want to avoid the hassle of porting to PAYG and then porting back. Seems like this is now the only way to get a decent deal.

Unfortunately that will be the only way. I tried 5 different companies for a t mobile upgrade including, t mobile direct, only thing left was to sign up as a new customer!!
