Thanks OP, this is just what my DD was looking for, we're just back from our local store. I asked them to check the price for me when we got there (still £79.95 new with £10 credit on the board instore) and it came up at £49.95 instead, full range of colours available .

Thank you OP, my current phone is on its last legs at the moment and this is one I've been considering as a replacement...might have to pop along to my local store and have a closer look.

I phoned Carphone Warehouse yesterday. The pay-as-you-go price is still £44.95 but they will only sell at this price if you have an O2 pay-as-you-go Sim card that qualifies - a sim with credit that has not been used for an upgrade within the previous 6 months. May need to try different call centres if the first operator cannot find the offer.
