Cheapskate - we all have problems, and they are all just as valid and important as anyone elses. Thats what makes it so good here,
    .

I totally agree, it doesn't matter what the problem is, if its bothering you or causing you upset its just as important as anyone else's.

Molly, it may do for the support group, but not for the work group, but who knows, they don't seem to. I feel like I'm talking to brick walls most of the time with them. I've used the website Turn2us with every possible variation and it still comes out the same...just done my budget, and not including other bills, except the important ones, electric, water etc, I am in deficit. The only way to reduce the deficit is to reduce food bills as I have nothing left to reduce.

I'll try the discretionary housing although I imagine there will be lots of people doing the same.

Anyway, always up for a challenge!

So, it's upping my income somehow, guess I need to increase my pet sitting rates.

Cheapskate, no-one should have to measure their worries against someone else's, that wasn't my intention, as everyone's worries are valid.

Leathers Lane in Halewood on the 4th according to the leaflet my son recieved.:)

Thank you - it looks lovely, theres a Tesco too and a home bargains all very swish. havent been that way since our friends moved a few years back.

Am mortified, when I first suggested idea of using Uncles function room and bussing kids in, before booking I wanted to look at coach hire, but my mum said oh dont be sill I booked buses all the time for my job (she retired a couple of years ago) it will be about £150 - which was so much cheaper than a marquee in garden would cost. Have now got final numbers and am trying to book, its nearer £400:eek::eek: I cannot believe I was so stupid.

Byatt, I'm a marketing manager, can I help you with the cat sitting business? Can I make you a flyer? Do you advertise? Are you on Facebook and Twitter? PM me if you like, I'm very happy to help.

Kidcat and Possession, PM's being sent, thank you. :)
  • Byatt - have some more hugs.

In fact everyone have some hugs for whatever ails you or just for being so supportive of everyone - it warms my heart that everyone has their own worries or problems and yet spares the time to offer comfort or more practical help or advice to others. That's a very generous offer from Possession - I wonder how many other useful skills we have between us?

You can tell the divers to pack their gear away - we are all home safe and sound although we did have to come the long way round! It's official - there is now only one way in or out of our village now, the rest closed due to massive flooding. I have a sneaking suspicion we may be on Look North again tonight as they have featured our village a few times this year about freak weather conditions. Beginning to think it's happening too often to be called freak now though.
