GQ - if it goes on for too long, get it checked out just in case you have picked up an infection - if so, the quicker it's dealt with the easier it is to fix. Hope you feel better soon Cheers Lyn xxx.0

GQ - back to the GP there should not be any pain after the event!!!

I have made a DECISION. If it's still painful tomorrow morning I shall brave the junkies outside the surgery and go in and ask about it. Had it done at 8.30 am last Wednesday, wasn't exactly expecting it to be the highlight of my week but this is blimming ridiculous. I have a hottie now and really wish I had a second one for the small of my back. I did used to have two but one perished (literally and figuratively) so I reasoned one was enough.
I woz wrong.
And, call myself a prepper, I was down to only 2 ibruprofen so will get some tomorrow.:oEvery increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

GQ - I normally feel uncomfortable for a good 3/5 days afterwards with bleeding too (sorry if TMI) , if basic pain killers aren't touching it then get checked out for UTI.
I'm in the onsie gang this evening, it's ruddy chilly here and pitch black - :j I love it. Curtains drawn, candles and table lamps on and the gentle sound of 5 out of 6 cats snoring/farting/purring.
I made pork steaks (given to us by a friend) in a peppercorn sauce (had some cream at needed using) with mash and veg. It was delish and felt very warming."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
I agree with our fellow girlies about getting it checked out GQ. Hope you can sleep tonight and can get an appointment in the morning.
Thanks for the pasta tip.0 -
GQ, get yourself a pillow case, fill a corner with rice, fold the extra fabric around to make a bag. Pop it in the microwave for about 1 min (with a little cup of water) and voila... a temporary hotwater bottle.0

You have to give my surgery 2-3 weeks advance notice to get an appointment, fuddle. I've never managed to arrange to be unwell to order. I'll just be there when their doors open and they may be able to get me to the doc on call or arrange to call me back in the late afternoon/ early evening.
The reception ladies at the GP like me; they even pull my repeat prescriptions without asking my name. I remarked on it once and was told that it's because I'm one of the nice ones!
I shall look pitiful. And NHS Direct is too busy to take non-emergency calls, apparently. Hey, if it was an emergency I'd be calling 999 not them. A|nd I haven't got a microwave. Gawd, it's tragic, innit (not) ;PEvery increased possession loads us with a new weariness.
