Haven't caught up on all of thread but just posting to say Happy Birthday to Fuddle and very glad you decided to stay!
The original poster took up far too much of the thread repeating the same things every day, sometimes several times a day - I had posted some comments about them before in response to one of their posts and received some supportive pms and non supportive ones - and also a bit of backlash in the forum itself. Particularly from one very supportive of the other poster (no idea if it was the person who responded on the blog). To be honest, I'm glad it's moved on from there - it felt like this was one person's personal support thread (fine - but start your own thread for that) not a general 'toughies' thread
Anyway, moving on, sorry about your bad news SDG
Off to catch up before picking smallest one from preschool (I now have child free time every morning (for the first time ever - eldest is coming up 15 )- the house is sooo peaceful!I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -
What on earth have all your personal arguments on blogs got to do with this thread? I try to read this board most days to see what bargains/ideas people have come up not petty childish discussions about other users. Seems the last two kerfuffles have been about postings on blogs and brought here simply to cause bother, why on earth do people who are allegedly grown up do this? I do sort of expect it on my facebook amongst my friends who are still at school/college but not here, very strange.:j0

Just a quick "dip in" to say.....Happy Birthday Fuddle! :beer:I'm another who's glad you're staying, you're so inspirational and I hope you have a lovely day with all that unpleasantness put behind you.
Lots of thoughts and best wishes for those of you who are ill, worrying about friends and family and beloved pets too.

Happy Birthday Fuddle!
I'm doing a happy dance here, as I've just gone to tax my car only to discover it's OH's car that has run out - not mine :j I've got til the end of october! HA!
What's more on panicking then that it wasn't MY MOT that had expired, I discovered that it's the 21st sept but that I'd had it done in the time-span to preserve the anniversary
Joint finance only apply to those things not related in any way to his business
My kitchen is immaculate. You could eat off any surface - lets hope the inspector agrees. I was joking with DD's BF earlier saying that I should bribe the inspector with cake, to say that all the things I keep nagging OH to do in the house need to be done before we can be approved for evening meals :rotfl: I hope getting her in at short notice flagged up that it's like that all the time! She's due here any time now....

As she had a list of presents she wanted in the invitation but all very dear so she can use the gift card towards one of those. Some of the presents were 500 pounds
£500!? £500?! I need to find me an amenable man to marry, pronto
Any takers.?..preferably currently unmarried (sorry PAH :rotfl:)0 -
Good luck Kate! I'm sure you'll be fine. My house has never been so clean and tidy as it was when we had ours though, perhaps we should arrange to have inspections once a month!0
