Fuddle - I was the one mum throwing her daughter into the school gate and belting off down the road with a huge grin ..
Sunshine she was a fraud then mediums arent supposed to ask questions as such - if they do ask you to verify something then you answer "yes, no or I dont know", and thats all!
    HAPPY BIFFDAY WEE FUDDLES!
  • Bring it on MAR I'll be first to volunteer, trolleys at dawn then? (Poor old Dawn, I always did wonder what she'd done wrong!) - Cheers Lyn x.
  • Thanks Mar I though she was, just felt sorry for him as he had saved his money for it and was looking forward to it. Then when he came him he looked so disappointed and said she asked lots of questions and told me nothing.

I would love to visit a medium to see if my dad had a message for me. :) Of all the souls in a room I think he would fight his way to communicate to me... and that's why I won't go. So silly but if I didn't get a message from him I would be hurt. I know, what a pathetic way to be going on but can't help it.

    :bdaycake:HAPPY BIRTHDAY FUDDLE!:bdaycake:
Well it is a beautiful day here today and I am just back from walking the dog and cat through the forest. We’ve just moved next door to a school and the kids think it’s hilarious to watch me walking a little dog with the cat trotting on behind.

I am feeling a bit brighter about my daughter today and determined not to let this setback get me down. I need all my energy to be positive for her. It’s tough right now as DH is looking for work (long story but he gave up his job when we moved here to take care of his parents) and we rely on the money he gets from some freelance consultancy he does. I am busy with coursework to pass a tutoring exam I am taking which will hopefully help me gain some more freelance work tutoring adults and children in English.

We are definitely feeling the pinch right now so I am having to be even more creative and savvy when it comes to grocery shopping. I managed to find a recipe for the mackerel DD and DH brought home on Sunday and made mackerel fishcakes. They were super scrummy! If anyone wants the recipe just yell.

Ok, off to make a mug of tea and back to studying. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

    Morning all

Happy birthday Fuddle - I hope there's cake.

Gorgeous morning out there, sun is silly hot but the breeze has an autumnal nip to it.

Feeling almost human today but having to pace myself, have changed the bed, sorted the washing and done a bit of weeding out the front. Time for tea and a relax.

DD2 has gone to school happily, I will miss her lots. DD1 doesn't start college until Monday so I shall utilise her well with some batch cooking ;)

    Happy Birthday Fuddle :T:beer:

If you think your house is a mess, you should see mine!

I have set myself the task of having it clean and tidy (ish) by Monday - and that is a fairly tall order. Got a full day at work today, followed by teenager ferrying tonight. Might be finished by 8, more likely later and i'll have to catch up with the farm another time.

DD had to be at school at 7.45 today  so i was in work at 8.15, which is virtually unheard of. Various people fainted in shock :D This new school business is strange for all concerned, getting used to different ways, different timings, different holidays and the increased distance and difficulty in getting there. Hopefully we will all adjust soon - though the different holidays is already causing problems - they have totally different half term weeks and the start and finish days over xmas and new year differ too.

Ah well, better look busy ;)
I wanna be in the room where it happens
  • Fuddle Have a great birthday :bdaycake: when I was 33 the children bought me a badge with 33 on it and demanded I wear it all day, which I did, still have it, its worn by my Garfield which is one of the things they gave me as a present then.

Totally agree with Mar no medium should ask questions unless to claify something they should give you information not the other way round, the one who gave me the message never once asked me anything just gave me what she received which all made total sense to me. Am sure Mar had same as me when training been told over and over how you must not ask anything for the person you are with, its rule number one basically for any true Medium.

Fuddle no one can promise to bring someone through, its up the those gone before to come if the wish. Usually my friends father always comes through and last week she happily was expecting him to do so and she received nothing and was very disappointed. If they don't come its not because they love you any less though.

Well sunny again but not sure if warm or chilly as not opened window yet, had to close it in middle of night as woke up coughing and realised it was from strong smell of Ammonia that was coming in from outside so went round and closed all the windows, not checked local news yet to see if they mention the cause.

This is my secret made up life, in RL am a heathy hard working ATC who has plenty of money so doesn't need to be OS and has cleaners, cooks and maids to do everything, who just wants sympathy so pretends to be chronically ill :rotfl::rotfl:

That is the problem no-one can tell if what the person posting is being truthful, but if you read their posts you usually find they slip up in some way, forget they have or have not told you something and that is how their pretend persona usually falls apart, but often not before it causes upset and disharmony among the people they are posting to.

Right I have the woman from HA coming at 2pm and still not done anything for her, its all in my head but apart from a few notes nothing concrete down on paper - well in Word. I keep starting then the space bar sticking starts to drive me to distraction and I give up. Ok for a few hundred words but any longer and am ready to throw the laptop.

    Hugs and Love to allxxxx

Just been wondering why testicles are such a handicap to cleaning the bathroom actually... I am the only person who EVER does it
    :rotfl::rotfl:

That one nearly had my tea all over the 'puter screen! It also seems to be a major handicap in the washing up stakes if last night is anything to go by. I had asked OH to do it as I was printing wedding invites and I needed some of the things to put the kids tea out - when I came put out stuff there were still bits over half of the washing up - OH's answer? well you know I'm not good at washing up. I pointed out to him (fairly gently considering!) that he wouldn't put up with that from the kids and they would be encouraged to try harder! He had no answer to that but humphed a fair bit.:rotfl:

Happy Birthday Fuddle - Hope you have a fab day.

I am also looking forward to Wartime Farm tonight to and my book should be arriving later - delivery people permitting - tracking has it out on the van. At least I suppose that will guarantee one quiet hour on this thread - we'll all be too busy watching to be posting.

Just realised last night that as I get CA we should get some help for DS's day at nursery from the childcare bit of WTC, which is a bonus - we'd decided we could just about afford it for the good it would do me to have a break but this will ease things a bit.

Have a good day all and hugs where needed.
