Ludlow is very much ex-forces, women are delegated to make tea/wash dishes pretty much and you have to post useful info or they chuck you out :D
Try UKPreppers - I'm a mod in there. (which means they are really sane sensible normal people, doesnt it) :rotfl::rotfl:

Thing is with prepping Mrs L is that people love to poke fun and fall about sniggering. And I'm not going to waste my time or energy on them - but I'd do a thread with PAH if she's game, and Smiley who is a prepper too.

I understand you not wanting to become a target for such juvinile narrow minded people. There are many short sighted/small brained individuals with nothing better to do with their lives.
For me, a little bit of insight would be a help. I can understand the need for something to purfiy water because obviously you can't carry all the water you may need. I also get the need for lighting and since this morning have been wondering how to light a fire without matches...Strange look from DH :D ...I said that one out loud!! :rotfl:

Yey! Really looking forward to it :) We won't let 'em get at ya Mar My sister does think I'm weird having a load of food in my under stairs cupboard though. Personally I don't get why folks get their knickers in a twist about it. Each to their own and all that. :D

I came back with a load of stuff from Aldi and that will go into my store cupboard(dates from 2013-2015)and they have tins of potatoes for 19p:)

They say our Aldi will open in November...my taxi driver reckons we will see Tesco's drop their prices when Aldi opens...

I noticed our Mr T has 4 pints of milk for £1 which matches Aldi, but presumably this is national and entirely coincidental.
Back from cadbury World and feeling sick from too much chocolate. Great fun though.

Hubby says use steel wool and a battery meme - or if not then you can buy things called fire steels. I'm going to start a thread anyway. Cover me I'm going in :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
