Could I ask here if anybody has one of these new air fryers thingies for chips? I was looking at one in Costco and I miss chips. Are they worth the money?

May be as easy to do oven chips in a halogen oven, it circulates hot air or use a combi microwave(using the oven or grill function?)"A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson

Me I expect Mar, I have the sweetie stash (unintentionally!). I do have quite a lot of other things stashed too. Might get round to a pic one day, but I have no FB pies, not one so I will never win on that front.0 -

We need some plaster but dh wants to wait till tomorrow to use his over sixties discount card:) I forgot about that and he's only had it a few weeks anyway. My legs need a rest too because our ladder has a rung missing at the bottom and it hurts trying to get on the next rung. Must get our other ladders back from dd.
We like mr s teabags and I like the coffee. I buy it in 300g jars and one jar lasts around 6 weeks, probably longer now ds2 is not here.
Sewing Machine tensiontwo helps here and here hopefully.
I thought I would show you my latest project. I have finally cleared the photos off my phone to make some room.
This is my project and this is where I got the pattern from.
Also the jacket I made for my self a while ago. The photo isn't the best as I took it at 8.30pm and the sun is going down. The sleeves are short ones but you can't see them.
How cuteI like your jacket, it has a dog tooth feel about it

Hi gang. Whew it's all still a bit mental. We've taken the last of the stuff out of the kid's slum, and OH is going to clear a bit of space in his workshop, hoping it won't be there too long. We are apparently getting the bond, and confirmation in writing that the contract is cancelled tomorrow! Remains to be seen if the Landlord coughs up, but with their other deposit back next week, they can at least move somewhere! I'm deeply touched by all the offers of help that the kids have had, and also for Mrs. Chips offer of storage. It kind of restores your faith in people, after it's had such a knock!
Was quite busy at the market today, and we had a film crew knocking about filming a foodie programme, I had a chat with Aldo Zilli (and gave him a Welsh cake!) Early night for me, as I was up at six making brownies. Arrrgh.

That website is showing the prices in Mauritius money folks... I nearly put mine straight on ebay!!
£39 Sterling converts to 1181.52 Mauritian Rupees:pso not much different to here but if you lived there maybe it is expensive in comparison to income households have and what you are paid in your job."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. That's really good news Kate, we might have to think of a few good threats to make the LL pay up pronto. I like Aldo Zilli, I used to go to Zilli Fish regularly as it was 2 mins walk from my office, and he was often there (unlike other well-known chefs!). He's always friendly for book signings and conferences as well, not a diva.0 -
