Evie, I am currently travelling in Pennsylvania and saw some Amish a few days ago. Later on next week we are travelling thro Lancaster county where most are and hoping to do a tour and buggy ride organised by them.

You got some lovely things while shopping. I wish I could drink wine, I used to enjoy a glass but meds aside it suddenly started causing my face to literally go bright red and I mean fire engine red which would last for hours so even non-alcoholic is out.....
Hope you get some sleep tonight and you have eaten:)
PAH, I probably should not drink but I never did drink much anyhow...and I am on strong meds...but the consultant never warned me off having an odd drink...
You haven't upset me, good heavens no...
Truth is I am in bed with the laptop, exciting hey:p and have an internet music station playing all the types of music Mum and myself used to enjoy...
http://www.theloungesound.ca/listen-live/
It doesn't use a lot of bandwidth...
Usually only heard on radio in the UK on Sundays, what I call real easy listening music where people know how to sing and don't shout...Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Harry Connick Jr, Bobby Darin etc...and instrumentals. I like all kinds of music but do like the melodic stuff...
I kept it simple, I just ate the diced chicken but I did have something earlier in the day, Some belly pork I had cooked in the SC and tested it out(kept most back for today)cheese and tomato in a wholmeal bun and then marmalade on a wholemeal bun. And I drank some fruit juice diluted with water. So I did get some protein...
I forgot I got some bananas too when shopping, been looking at coach holidays but if my assesment happens sooner or benefits change(or I need my operation)I may still not get away, I cannot go until middle October as I have my theatre shows between September and early October...
We'll just have to see what happens...
What I spent would probably feed a family for a month:eek:If I am buying it I will have no excuse not to eat..."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson

Sounds great VJ's Mum...what memories you are building up...hope you are getting plenty of photo's...
The hours may be strange but I may go away and have a bowl of cereal and set something else away in the SC.
Whilst I am able I may treat myself to a new Hard Drive and a paper shredder later today...
And put all my music on the new HD just in case the other drives crash..."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson

Should think of getting those lanterns(and they have reduced the price of wind up/solar powered radio's at Amazon)Also an electric blanket as suggested by QuinnTwins...and a new mattress...
If i think I can stay put I'll take some money out of Mum's savings and buy a new sofa and might buy some carpets and get the place decorated...

Grandma just ignore the emails from ebay, they will stop. Nothing will happen if you don't leave feedback.
Pops, go to sleep! : )0 -
Morning Possession,
Just about to have a cup of coffee;)
Hey, I have found some Christmas puddings dated(Best Before)January 2012...
Anyone think that they can still be eaten? After eating that Kitkat I'm tempted..."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson

I won a pair of kids jeans on fleabay but they did not arrive and I eventually got my money back but I keep getting fleabay emails saying leave feedback. I do not want to do this as I did receive another pair quickly from the same person ( I won them both on the same day.) and it would be negative if I did?
I did leave positive feedback for the pair I got.
I have not been using it for long so have no idea how it all works really.
Hi you do not have to leave feedback, the emails will stop eventually it is an automated system that just churns them out generally.
To be honest I would not leave negative feedback for the seller as they refunded you straight away, it is not their fault that something went missing on route to you but they did deal with it properly.
The only time I have ever left negative is when a seller did not reply to me regarding something not turning up and when I eventually managed to phone them basically I was told tough luck and sod off.
I would think that the seller has done everything they can by refunding you for the jeans,:)1 Sealed Pot Challenge # 1480
