omg :):D:):) I have succumbed, again, my wool stash is getting bigger

black sheep wools noro kureyon sock yarn £7 01 instead of £14.99 for 100g. What did it was accidentally seeing a you tube clip on knitting a scarf with short rows and I had already had my eye on the noro yarn. Trouble is I couldn`t decide which one to get ;)

Kittie, why are you adding washing up liquid to the watering can please?

it helps the water to get absorbed by the compost, it gets very difficult to water when it gets dry and water normally just goes straight through. Just trickle water at first and then add more to the soil after a couple of minutes

It was 10 years ago kez and I was a lot snobbier then than I am now. It's just the toilet thing that got me, didn't fancy sharing an outhouse with strangers in a unisex 'toilet'. It might have changed now though.

Further praise on the smell of stew in the slow cooker from mam. She is alcoholic though so wish me luck as the mood swings are dire.

Lalalalalalalalalalalala.......I can't hear you kittie Stop it you wicked temptress, I can't buy any more wool. I have enough to last me for months and DH would have a fit. He is going to have one about the AF order without me bringing more wool into the house.
I will hold out until October, I will

My hubby thankfully has given up moaning at boxes being delivered - to him anyway the more delivered the less he has to carry from the car to the house ( usually taken to the car in a store trolley ( oh Pops we have had to put pound coins in our trolleys for years, our Mr S was the last place to give in but best thing really as you used to see the odd trolley lying in the street, the perils of living on the edge of a horrible city)
Need to get back to getting finances under control now kin kid at uni as savings are zilch

Did anyone see Hugh F-W's Veg program last night? Not sure if it is a repeat but it was the last in the series. They made a chocolate tart that looked gorgeous, no cooking needed. If the ingredients are too prohibitively expensive then I'll give it a go, offhand it contained: pecans, dates, avacado, coconut oil, cacao powder. Not really items I have in stock!

It's been nigh on 30 degrees here most of the day, I'm off to hide in my cave again, heat makes me grumpy.
