In December 2011 I paid my Barclaycard credit card bill off via Natwest online Banking. Due to an error at Natwest, the payment went somewhere else.

If you paid by on-line banking and you've sent the payment to the wrong account, then it is entirely your fault not the bank's.

Check three times before you press 'enter'.

The OP has already said Natwest have apologised for the mistake and refunded the cost of phone calls. Do you naively think technical and computing errors never happen? Because Natwest have a spotless track record don't they... :rotfl:

I'm not sure who is dafter, the one who makes the mistake in the first place or the fool who agrees with them.

    They are visible.

Have they started making them visible again now.

I remember at one point what ever payees was set up on your online banking was not visible to thoughs using earlycloud in the CTC and if the CTC was to do the transfer they did not save the details and would diarise the payment until the next working day.
