Payment went awol-found 6months later, Barclays fobbing me off with £60 to compensate

How was the payment made was it done in branch or via telephone banking.

If you paid by on-line banking and you've sent the payment to the wrong account, then it is entirely your fault not the bank's.

The OP has already said Natwest have apologised for the mistake and refunded the cost of phone calls. Do you naively think technical and computing errors never happen? the OP stated the payment was made ONLINE.... which means the OP sent the payment.
Id agree with you if it was made by TELEBANKING, but it wasnt.Promo codes are never always cheaper..... isnt that right EuropCar?0 -
