Yes but you said it was YOUR company didn't you? So the letters just go to YOUR company and you ignore them.

    thanks for everyone replying,

Lets make it easy is it your company? So you or your company will be the registered keeper, or are you driving a company car?

Makes a difference because any letters will go to the registered keeper.

Company owned car - Private car ...... make no difference. <snip>

If it's leased, the leasing company could pay the invoice, then charge you ... plus an "administration charge".

But they won't as they could end up in the schtum for that.

They did it once to one of our fleet, they paid it all back and gave us assurances staff would receive training., they have no legal authority to do it

We don't know which leasing firm, or even if the OP's company car is leased or owned by the company.

Personally, I suspect it's the latter.

However, if it is leased, the OP could find themselves with an invoice for the PPC parking charge plus a nice little earner of an admin' fee from the leasing firm. In some cases, they've taken the money from the victim's account. There are days when I wonder who are the bigger crooks.

It's better to stop them doing it in the first place and deny the PPC the money.

Thanks for getting back to us with that. It's good news, as it makes things simple.

Please come back for any re-assurance as each letter arrives. As I say, they will come from the PPC, then the PPC pretending to be a debt collector and then the PPC pretending to be a solicitor, and they will threaten you with every kind of financial and legal unpleasantness imaginable, to intimidate you into paying.

    Simple to ignore it then!
