In practice there are two things you will notice:
1) Speed increase, startup, shutdown, general performance. Also, you won't be able to feel a spinning drive from the palm rest as you can on MacBooks fitted with standard drive.
2) Increased cost of purchase for all SSD drives, but particularly for higher capacity drives.

Yep, so what we're down to here is that you still get FAR more storage on an HDD than you do on a Flash drive, flash is faster, more efficient, no moving parts etc, but FOR NOW, you're paying a lot more money, for a lot less storage than HDD. Stick with HDD if you want lots of storage. A gigabyte is a gigabyte, whether it's disk platters or flash or RAM.0
