Rolling broadband v cheap contract.

Okay. Here's the thing. BT phone line is already set-up and paid for (in someone else's name).
I'll only be in the property for about 2 months (would prefer unlimited during this time (and then it would be used intermittently or possibly not at all). I'm wondering if it would be better to get a short-term rolling contract - if these are available - or sign-up for a cheap 12 month contract, knowing that the net would be there should I return or someone else wanted to use it during that time.
I did think about a 12 month tesco broaband contract as that seems pretty cheap - but the general consensus here seems to be that it's not so great.
Any advice?

This could be complicated, as most ISP's want (or require) control of the landline. If this isn't you, this opens up problems for the options available to you. For such a short period of time, I'd consider a PAYG donge or MiFi unit - but check the network for coverage first. This has the benefit of acting as a backup whenver you need to use it.0

Hi. Thanks for the reply.
I did consider PAYG dongles, but it seems that they run out after a month whether you use up the allowance or not.0 -
Whilst I'm going mental with answering very similar posts...
See here. I'm reluctant to paste it for a third/fifth time...
Ignore the dongle word in the post title... See my post. Third one down. Specific links about Short term/no contract internet. NOT just mobile broadband...
