Hotpoint Fridge freezer - how to reverse doors

We had a Hotpoint fridge freezer (FF200T) delivered yesterday and once we put it in place, we thought it would be great to reverse the doors, as now they can't be open unless the kitchen door is closed.
In the manual it says to contact technical advice centre, and I read somewhere that it can be done by hotpoint engineer.
But how difficult can it be? Can't we do it ourselves? Has anyone done this and could help us to sort this out?

Very easy to do.
Under the hinge brackets are the same fixings as on the opening section.
Simply remove the hinges (Easier with two of you) and re-position them on the other side."Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0 -
as above. really simple job. bottom hinge has 2 screws, remove and swap the bracket over to the other side, complete with the door of course.
there is usually a plastic plug to swap too. for plugging the other top hole up.Get some gorm.0 -
There is some plastig tube going it the door on top as well - will I be able to move it easily? This is a model with LED deisplay on the door.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

There should be some information in the paper work that came with the freezer.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

No, there was no information how to do it. There was a mentioning that it can be done and to contact the technical advice team. I think in one of they brochures I had before it said that their engineer could do it.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

New problem
I'm trying to reverse the doors on a Hotpoint RFA52 "Iced Diamond" Fridge Freezer and I thought it would be better to resurrect this old thread than start a new one.
I've taken off the doors, got the top hinge in the right place and the top door is now in place. I'm now at the point of screwing the centre hinge (between fridge and freezer) into place. There are marks for the new screw holes, but the holes aren't actually drilled. I assumed you just bore new holes with the screws but it is turning out the be extremely difficult. Should I press on or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.0 -
Bump. (really need to get this sorted, sorry!)0

Are you still struggling? I've got the generic "Refrigeration Instruction Book" for my Iced Diamond freezer, which contains info on how to reverse the doors on a fridge freezer. Not having done it, it doesn't make enough sense to me to answer your question. But if you want it scanning I'll have a go.import this0

Still struggling. I've got instructions that tell you how to reverse the doors. It's just a question of it not being as simple as the instructions say. Thanks anyway.0
