Terrible service from vodafone

Hey just want to share my problems with vodafone.
I've been out of contract for about 3 months now, paying £30 a month which was an iPhone contract for 300 minutes, unlimited text and 1gb of internet. With that I paid £169 (i think) and got an iPhone 3gs.
I ring up looking to move to a sim only tariff, the best they can do to keep me on the same package is £26. So I requested my PAC code because several other companies (three, tesco, giffgaff) offer that sort of package for £10-£15.
For the past 3 days I've been bombarded by sales calls by their retention team, 5+ calls a day. I've told them I'm not interested but they keep ringing.
Also ever since I request my PAC code I've been receiving countless spammy text's. Crash for cash, competitions etc.
I'm utterly disgusted by vodafone and just want to put it out there. People should stay away. I've been a customer for over 7 years and they offered me nothing to say. I didn't even get an apology for the 3G problems that effected the Deansgate area of Manchester for months.
All in all. Avoid. Terrible service. Obviously producing adverts with Yoda talking to a bunch of chavs is more important than paying customers.
I tried to post this on the vodafone forum but I can't. I get an unexpected error. fabulous.

They offered you nothing to stay? How do you know if you don't talk to the retentions team??
That's how it works when you ask for your PAC code the retentions guys see if they can work out a deal as they have the power to do so Hardly "utterly disgusting".
Can't see why you are getting so irate.0 -
Answer the phone, they might be able to beat whatever you can get from another network, they did for a friend of mine.MrChandlerBing wrote: »For the past 3 days I've been bombarded by sales calls by their retention team, 5+ calls a day. I've told them I'm not interested but they keep ringing.
Loyalty means nothing. If you aren't making them money, they aren't interested.I'm utterly disgusted by vodafone and just want to put it out there. People should stay away. I've been a customer for over 7 years and they offered me nothing to say.
Shame you didn't post about those issues, Vodafone have a clause in their contracts that says they will credit your account for signal issues which would have been better than an apology I think you'll agree.I didn't even get an apology for the 3G problems that effected the Deansgate area of Manchester for months.
Expect nothing from networks, they're all the same. Get what you want at the lowest price and leave when they cease to be the cheapest and you won't be disappointed. All in all. Avoid. Terrible service.0 -
You must not have even called the disconnections team, as we currently offer the deal you are after for £10.50pm on a sim only contract.0

Hi MrChandlerBing,
I am really disappointed to hear that you have been unhappy with the service you have received after requesting your PAC. It's certainly not the impression we want to give.
If you would like me to change your preferences so that you no longer receive these retention calls, you can email me via the address here with WRT135 FAO Heidi in the subject.
Kind regards,
Heidi
