One thing that no one has suggested is that it is an actual, genuine, mistake on their part.
Many years ago I went to pick up a computer part that cast £400+.21p (I remember the 21p).
I put the money in an envelope and I would have sworn that I put the 21p in there.
When I haded it over and the seller checked it there was no 21p.
I was extremely embarassed.0 -
