well I got my first neg she said i was rude and posted item late I am never rude only asked if she still wanted the item
she paid the 5th and received item on the 7th i sent 1st class oh well never mind but it's a shame i can't leave her a neg. she's blocked now so end of. thanks for the advice guys
If you can prove next day postage (ie have proof of postage or preferably a tracking #) then I would phone eBay to complain about the "posted late" comment. You won't be able to remove the neg (because that's the buyer's opinion) but may be able to have any low star for dispatch removed. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
I would also leave a follow up to the neg, calmly and factually, something along the lines of "posted 1st class day after payment received".
At least this way, people can then see who the unreasonable person was.0 -
You know you can respond to feedback on the same page? So underneath where they have claimed you posted late, you can write something like "Posted the day after buyer paid, within the time frame on listing". Just so you sound reasonable compared to their ridiculous fuss over nothing!0

I didn't even ask them for payment:eek: just asked if they still wanted it and said it was ok if they didnt as i would just relist it or send a second chance offer was happy to wait for payment as long as i knew they deff wanted it

Unfortunately tone can be miss read in emails. What was intended as a polite check up on your part may have been percieved by the buyer as you saying - hurry up and pay up or I'll sell to someone else.0 -
Never really thought of that but i was very nice about it honest:o but when she did reply she was horrid lots of these !!!!!!! and i mean after nearly every word wish i'd just refunded her but never mind i will calmly now move on ;)lol.RainbowDrops wrote: »Unfortunately tone can be miss read in emails.
