HI,
Do you actually want to sell your phone privately or just looking to get some money for it?
You could always try a recycling company. I've used comparemymobile before and they'll show you the best price you can get for your phone
Just a thought!

You could try AV Forum or Hotuk deals.
But for a new poster you'd be expected to post first.0 -
gumtree is fine for selling things if you make sure you go for cash on collection only. dont reply to any replies requesting paypal payments.
you might get a few dodgy replies but they are very easy to spot. the majority of enquiries will prob be valid.0 -
Have you thought about carphonewarehouse? they pay £250 for a iphone 4 16gb ! It must...Be in good visual condition
Have no physical damage
Have all its features in good working condition
Include its battery and be able to power up and charge
Have no evidence of liquid damage
Though you must include the battery, there's no need to have any of the cables, chargers or other accessories that came with your product.
I believe you can take it into one of their shops and they transfer the money into your bank account the same day but you'd need to confirm that.
HTH.
Edit - Just found this in their t&c'sIf you trade in in-store, we will pay the Quoted Value onto your credit/ debit card where available or via cheque sent to your home address within 28 days.0 -
There are a number of other sites where you can sell your mobile phone locally. I tend to use iyan because its completly free. As a previous poster mentioned - with these local deals its better to meet and get cash!
Good Luck!
