Did have a menu plan for the week but it's all change this week as I've got a badly sprained ankle and can't stand too long - originally the hospital thought it was a fracture but had a call from the hospital yesterday lunchtime to say the consultant had had a look at the X-ray and it's not. This means that DH is doing most of the cooking.

He's done really well so far.

    Original plan was:
    Sun Roast chicken dinner
Mon LO chicken & pea risotto
Tues Mint & lamb burgers, chips & beans
    Wed Pork Tikka & rice
    Thurs Sausages in red wine
Fri Fish Pie, new pots & peas
Sat Jacket Potato, tuna mayo & salad

    Will now be:

    Sun & Mon as before
Tues Chicken & chorizo risotto (HM & previously frozen)
Wed LO chicken fritatta, chips & beans (I think there is still enough chicken to make a chicken & mushroom flan for the freezer as well!) I'll be prepping these and DH will cook when he gets in this evening
Thurs: Sausages, mash, veg & gravy (DH didn't like the original when I made it last time!)
Fri: Fish pasta bake (easier for DH to make than fish pie!)
    Sat: Jacket pot (as before)

    Sorry for the long post!

    Denise
