I have a blog with my ramblings and family recipes on, am I allowed to put it in my signature?

Try it you could only be told to remove it again. I doubt that you would be banned or can you hint enough information so we can look it up in a search engine...Another person put their blog link on a post and its still there.

Otherwise people will have to exchange information by PM...

99% of those who use MSE are are nice an genuine people who who self police the site and the mods are fair too so I think we're all kept safe. We'd soon stop any thing dodgy.

If it can only be mentioned where others have said you'll have to find a way to keep reminding us to look so we can find the link...

Thank you Boodle! This thread has already had its good effect on me, the stuffed marrow is done, and while it was doing I also put a rhubarb and apple crumble in the oven and so they will have pudding. Also steamed some fennels (instead of greens). Later on I am popping down to the market and will get a few spuds for extra tummy filling effect!
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Ah, I check ze rules, ze rules say no. I do not wish to break ze rules before I even get comfy! Which is a shame because it was only to share info, I don't make anything from the blog (I wish!) but I can see why the rules are there. I've put it on my profile as suggested /\ instead. I can always C&P if anyone wants a recipe for something.

Love your blog, and do you know, I never considered making cauliflower cheese from a bag of frozen cauliflower. I shall be buying one forthwith.

    Hi Popperwell,

I'm afraid that on MSE we aren't allowed to link to our own blogs or websites or those of our friends, even by pm. For more information see here.

If anyone does link or direct others to their own blog the post is likely to be removed by the forum team.

Bargain. DH has just gone to Tesco with instructions to buy frozen cauli. I remember cheesy cabbage with bread and butter as a child too, wonder what frozen cabbage is like?! Mind you I don't rate my chances of getting my children to eat cheesy cabbage.

My kids love cabbage, they're quite weird. DD calls it 'dragon skin'. They like brussels sprouts too. Odd wee beasts.

    Dragon skin, that's brilliant!

Not been on here in some time, and OH and I have recently moved in together, so I have less leftovers for lunch now as I'm cooking for two. Lunches tend to be sandwiches or sometimes I might have hummous with carrot and pitta "dunkers". This week's dinners:

Mon - chilli con carne and rice
Tue - pie, potatoes, veg and gravy (OH out, I will leave his on a plate for him)
Wed - black bean chicken stirfry and noodles
Thur - cheesy broccoli and pea pasta bake. Dependent on the price and availability of broccoli, might have to substitute another green veg. Would just use cauli but I don't like it.
Fri - reduced fish in batter, chips and peas.

And Saturday is always curry night.
