What sells best at car boots?

CDs in charity shops go for about £1 for an album or 50p for a single, so buyers are likely to expect the price to be lower at a bootsale. I'd say McKneff's price suggestions are reasonable to expect buyers to pay."The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.

I'm almost pleased it is raining as it means I don't have to feel guilty about not car booting. Frankly though for the prices I got last time I really don't think I'll bother unless I know I have some higher end highly sought after stuff to sell.
This downturn seems to be hitting everything. I met a friemd yesterday who has always car booted, she actually makes money doing it and treats it like a part time job- and she's all but given up this year as she says she can't make enough money to make it worthwhile.
I'm sure it is just a temporary phase and the markets will improve again soon.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
