World record red ticks? Not even close, I've had at least two with over 1000 red arrows, I think one went to 2000 but I can't remember what it was about.
Once I went for something absolutely outrageous and got over 2000 green arrows. Was about terrorists I think, good old Daily Mail readers. The J is a Financial Advisor-This site doesn't check anyone's status and as such any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as financial advice. best way to check house price movement in local area:
walk round local area, note addresses of houses with 'sold' boards outside
go home
log onto https://www.zoopla.com
type address into search bar, under the 'property values' option
find the houses as above, note original purchase price and date of purchase, compare to recent sold price
I find it pretty accurate, i know which way prices are going in my area

Word of warning.
I've found Zoopla price estimations to be laughably incorrect.:wall:
What we've got here is....... failure to communicate.

price estimations, maybe
im talking sold prices, original purchase price, latest sold price.
They have always been right in my experience0 -
Not sure how that works at first it takes a long time for actual sold to get price online and most houses do not sell that regularly. I would have the only way to do it is to compare actual sold prices of similar houses and in general you have to wait a couple of months to get those prices.0

That's what I was thinking.
The free sold price data is delayed so that Land Reg have an opportunity to sell the data first.
If a sale has completed it will be on Land Reg immediately but it costs £4 to see it. (I think)0 -

The estimates do tend to be conservative yes. We find most valuers come back with a value that is 5-10% greater but this is understandable as most people do work on their property to improve it and Zoopla wouldn't want to appear too bullish.
The sold prices are fact from the land registry. The J is a Financial Advisor-This site doesn't check anyone's status and as such any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as financial advice. Always seek professional advice.0 -

I wondered why the delay is so long, on the latest property to sell in my road the boards have been down and new people in for over a month.0
