Virgin Mobile won't honor offer
I signed up to Virgin mobiles new Premier 08 tariff a few days ago. At the time I told the sales person that I did not have any other accounts with them. He offered me a HTC One x on a £46.00 pm tarried which included unlimited Virgin to Virgin calls , handset insurance and 500 min to 08 numbers. It was arranged that the phone would arrive on Tuesday. Tuesday came and went with no sign of the phone.
I called the sales team who told me that the order was on hold due to a fraud check. I was transferred over to the fraud dept who said it was not on hold due to fraud.
I contacted the sales team again who this time told me it was on hold as I had been offered the wrong tariff. (it was for existing customers only). They offered to give me the phone but at the full price tariff. Which I declined.(extra £15.00pm) . I know that companies are obliged to honor mistakes. Would you look elsewhere or see if you could take it higher ? The deal suited me down to the ground and I know their coverage is good.

They are not obliged, it just good customer serviceDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
