Faulty Memory card

I purchased a memory card that doesn't work from a seller saying it is 100% genuine. I then request (after finding it doesn't work) a refund via Ebay's dispute. The seller informs me when I send it back he will send out another. I have messaged him saying I don't want a replacement (suspicious it may be fake) but I have had no reply.
What should I do next ?
Thanks.

I assume you have a snad case open.
Post it back by Special Delivery (tracked).
Send a message and give the seller a couple of days to refund after it arrives.
Enter tracking number and escalate case to get your money back if there are no coms from the seller.
No seller should send another with a case open, that would be stupid.0 -
Posting special tracked delivery will cost me as I only paid £3.60 for the item.0

On eBay, the seller can only refund via a dispute. But that is only after you return tracked, as you opened the dispute, that is your only option.
You can try recorded and hope it tracks.0 -

That's not true. If they have your email address they can refund you.0 -
He sent me this today:
Hi, we are issuing the refund, pls let us know if you've received the replacement, thank you0 -

If you want to refund you must refund the original payment. If you send another payment (by using their email) then the buyer can keep the sent payment and revoke the original payment.
If the funds have been frozen then the seller has to refund via the dispute which will close it.
My point was, that once the funds are held, it would be a foolish seller that opts to send a replacement. The buyer can pocket the replacement and also the funds.0 -
He has sent a replacement by recorded delivery and that also does not work. I didn't want him to send another because I have no faith in the product he is selling.0

When you say it doesn't work what exactly do you mean? Are you using it in a camera? I only ask because sometimes fully working branded cards are not compatible with certain pieces of equipment.
For example, I have a Canon HD Camcorder which won't work with any card higher than a class 6. I have another camcorder which won't work with cards under class 4.0
