hi
i'm thinking of moving from dial up to broad band and, as i mentioned elsewhere, i am using the telewest cable systerm.
reading the other threads, i have got a bit confused, others have suggested that i can get the telewest blueyonder broadband with the cable system that i have got but 2 different people at telewest have said otherwise.
so 2 questions
1) can i actually get telewest broadband whilst using a cable line (and how much?)
2) are there any other broadband providers who i am able to use instead
thanks

I used to be on Blueyonder (telewest) dial up and in May last year I upgraded to Blueyonder broadband and have never had a problem with them so far. Assuming you have a telewest phone line already I can't see why you can't get Broadband from them.0

Hi,
it depends on whether telewests digital service is available in your area. I used to be with telewest with my phone on analogue, and was assured by them that braodband and thus digital, would be in the area soon....that was 7 years ago and still no sign of it! I have now moved back to bt as their telephone packages are similar and gone to bt broadband....no regrets!
If you have no Bt sockets though there would i think be an installation charge which is quite steep.0
