Thank you to all that have offered me support, and Hi again Brizzle.
My SOA is all a bit bizzare, my debt is my own (not with my DH ) and i am embarrased to admit, it is also a secret. I guess thats why i write on here, i can share my problems, but not with my nearest & dearest, and i have no intention of ever doing so.
I had a NSD until four o clock wnen i realiesd i had no salad leaves for tea, but they are BOGOF at Tesco, so a small plus there !
When i first tried to become debt free (Febryary 2011
) I started to use cash only and keep a spending diary, this really helped me, so i am going to start this again. I shall set myself a realistic weekly budget and deal in cash only.
I have cut up my CC  but, i am not as brave as i sound as i have reached the limit on it
plastic card gone, now to clearing the debt. On the plus side, it is 0 % interest free for a while. 05/03/14 £15,980 0n 2 CCs

I have no debt (finally) and I am now in the habit of budgeting and carrying cash. Was the only way I could control my spending. Worked for me so fingers crossed for you too

Hey mummychicken. I'm in the same boat. I had debts, paid the vast majority off and I've now built some back up again.
In my case I just got too relaxed and just went spending!!!0 -
Fab name, iamashoppingaddict !!! Same problem here, i just spend, but not on designer clothes or extravagant items for the DC. My biggest problem is supermarkets
I think nothing of popping in after the school run and spending £40 + on cr*p !!!!, i like nice food & wine
so would "treat" myself.
I am a sucker for the "offers" and cannot resist the homewhere selection, scented candles, cushions etc.... then there are the fresh flowers.............
But, this has to stop. I have been doing a weekly meal planner & shopping on line (this helped me in the past)
I have left my purse at home when i do the school run, and have given myself weekly pocket money & a challenge myself not to spend it all

The year after I left school I got a new car on HP. £7995 but by time I was finished paying over the 4 years, I'd paid over £10k. Got several credit cards - can't remember the total. Changed the car and took out £8000 loan to cover the change of car plus put all credit cards together so I only had one monthly payment. £1000 overdraft (which I had basically since leaving school) only disappeared earlier this year. Had to borrow £1500 from mum last year as I went off on WRS and was only getting SSP for over 4 months.
Not a lot compared to some people on here I know, but whether it's a debt of £1000 or £100,000 it is possible. One step at a time. Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves - so true!

Home from walking the dog in the woods, it was free!! but, he reeks, was rolling in something suspicious....prob fox poo
have hosed him down but he doesnot smell any sweeter.
Home made pizza for tea (more thumping the hec out of dough ) easy peasy as the DC love to make their own toppings
while i supervise with tea & biscuits ! 05/03/14 £15,980 0n 2 CCs
