They do seem to have some odd security procedures. I noticed they had this lucky dip type box near the exit in my local store, this had a key of different colours each indicating a search that would be carried out so person search, bag search, car search etc.
I assume they get people to take a colour out the box and then perform whatever search it corresponds too. I would guess this is probably only for staff but why have something like that clearly on display is a public area.0 -

I've had my car done by Wickes on a previous occasion.
The interesting thing is that it was 2 days old, had about 30 miles on it and didn't have anything that didn't come with it, except a Tesco bag with a sandwich in it in the boot.
Do I really look that dodgy?

at B&Q this is done for staff only. The reason they have it near the exit is so staff do it as they are leaving their shift and exiting the building.0
