no i mean over wound if you knew me i am like a coiled spring and i would have been down at that meeting before i had thought about it. Hyperactivity does not have a touch on me..
Well that is all a lie but quick thinking to cover my mistake though. hahaha0 -
JJ2012, what have you got to say about the other comments on this thread? This is your big chance to address many knowledgeable people: MSE on the whole attracts "the cream".Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

@ PlutoinCapricorn - thanks for your response :-)
The poster who is suspicious because we do a free event need not be - it's simply try before you buy. Just because it's free, doesn't mean it's bad! This site is free to use, for example....
Just like any business, we want to sell our products, but instead of doing a demonstration one to one we do it to a group - for example, 34 companies were with us for the last two days. No hard sell and lots of good information.
Hope that clarifies

JJ, could you please take a look at the Forum Rules. In particular, you should note that this site is free of advertising and we ask people not to advertise their own services/websites/ebay sales (please see this rule and this rule). Hi Savvy_Sue - I had no intention of advertising, I was just responding to the posts saying that our website had a virus and that it was now fixed. (I didn't name the site nor did the previous posters). Certainly didn't intend offending!0

I can say 100% that nabo is a legit site and company. Not sure if JJ wants his history printed out on here and I dont want to break any rules but in short he ran a multi-million pound biz with 7 employees and since selling it, he now helps small biz's with their marketing as he started his million pound biz with a flyer and a friend with a newsletter (i think it was a newsletter?).
I was one of his old customers and have met him on a few occasions so i know he is legit and the old company is still standing. No network marketing, no shares or anything but you learn loads about how to market your business in a similar way to how MSE runs i.e a good looking site, email list, customer value i think we did affiliate sales and a few other things i cant remember atm. I got myself in a bit of financial trouble in my business a few months back following depression and im going back to what worked which is a lot of (but not all) what i learnt on the course.
I actually think it would be beyond valuable to attend as ofter we think like money savers in biz which is fine but we need to think more like money makers also by leveraging our marketing efforts and automating things like websites and so on. Its free because some people ask for his team to coach/mentor them in their business on a monthly basis so its basically like an advertising cost. Maybe an MSE mod could go and review it then they can see for themselves.
Sorry if this seem like a rant and im normally cautious too but it touched a nerve to see the company who helped me spoken of negatively when no one has ever attended one of the seminars. I'm actually a bit sad about this thread as it seems there is so much nonsense out there that the good ones are thrown out to.
I think the threshold has changed and you need to be a financially abundant company to attend so forgetting about this event keep looking into online marketing as it can really change your biz and there is alot of free info online so maybe start there and see. I was going to start a thread about online marketing but im worried now lool.
Thanks for stopping by JJ, hope to be at one of the events early next year when im back on my feet.

Hi,
I realize this is an old thread but was wondering if anyone has any any experience of the NABO Complete Digital Marketing System? I heard of it as I am on Chris Cardell's mailing list and apparently he has bought into the company. I am tempted by the offer to "do all your online marketing for you" as I have no time nor expertise to do it myself, however, it does cost £10,000. I have booked an appointment in January 2014. It would be really good to hear if anyone has tried it and whether they think it is worth the money.
Many thanks,
J0 -
No idea if they're good, bad or indifferent, but every time you outsource your marketing you outsource your reputation. Seeing as many people settling SEO services don't understand how the internet works at any level, and some of them think spanning forum comments is a good thing (it really isn't, it's destructive to Google ranking in fact), and some intern may well be holding the keys to your brand, think long and hard. If you want to know more about the perils of outsourced marketing etc see popehat.com which has some good documenting of some dreadful attempts.
PS - £10k/year - I'd expect a LOT for that including guaranteed sales of at least £100k uplift directly attributable.0 -
I am sorry to hear this,. A quick Google and asking for the opinion of trustworthy members on here before signing up is always advisable.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?
