Regarding business seller queries, if it's during the week, I would expect a pretty prompt response. Someone sent me some photos of an item I was interested in showing some gorgeous illustrations and I bought the item immediately.

One person had an outage and before he got back to me I'd solved my question about his item (by squinting very hard at the photograph and looking up the contents online - it was an academic journal to which I have access through university but I still prefer if possible to work from hard copy). I felt sorry that I now didn't want the original item (it was given over to reprinting legislation from Russia rather than having any interesting articles) so I bought something else from him instead.

The one time it annoyed me was when I bought some trading cards individually and expected a combined invoice based on what was advertised - 10p per extra item. I had to wait a week - this was before the NPB dispute timescale shortened to 4 days but even so I was risking a non-payment dispute - and there was no phone number on the listing. I paid up eventually, but if you sell that sort of thing people must surely expect to have to send out combined invoices, so I was a bit surprised when they didn't.

Needless to say poor DSRs were forthcoming.
