Surely it should have been a refund in cash, or back on the card you paid with?
Being given a gift card with the money on it ensures they still get your money!
I thought they only put refunds onto a gift card if you can't prove that you bought it in their shop? The chicken would have had their labelling on it so therefore a straightforward refund should have been the way to go.I'm so sorry if you were enjoying this thread and mine is the last post!!
