    It won't come on, i.e. the little lever/valve doesn't move and the orange light doesn't come on resulting in no hot water. I tried moving the little lever manually but no joy.

    If you can move the lever with a little resistance, then it sounds like the motor in the head gone.

    If you can get it, just replace the head.
