PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.

    Yes, thanks.
"Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."

Forum posts are not legal advice; are for educational and discussion purposes only, and are not a substitute for proper consultation with a competent, qualified advisor.

Why? The advice given is useful to others in a similar situation.

In general, it is considered bad form to delete posts and threads - disrespectful to those who have answered and might themselves wish to refer others to the thread.

The only real exception to this is when you have revealed personal info which needs to be put back in the box.

Actually, I can see the point. It preserves the context of the thread even if OP deletes it. The important part of Justicia's post is not the '......'

Although OP has taken the point.
