I'm very excited, think I'll have a nip into town either today or tomorrow for a try on of the things I like to check in size for ordering if I get a slot or the grab a thon in store next sat morning..... It's the only time I really do shopping apart from odd item here and there.

Hope I get a slot I've not had one summer last year or Christmas last year either... Hmmft!! I just love the browsing before the sale actually starts. I could do with trainers for oh and me & dd so would love a slot. Here's hoping....

There doesn't seem the same hype this year in here- there was screads of stuff last year all the threads had to be joined together....

I didn't get a VIP slot at Christmas I'm guessing this is because my shopping habits have changed. I'm an impulse shopper and used to order lots of stuff with the free delivery codes now the codes have stopped I have to go in store to collect my stuff so I think I may as well just shop there and then I pop into M&S and River Island which are also close by. Will wait and see if I get a slot but I'm not holding my breath.

The invites arrive on a Monday - I am sure as I am always working when the email comes through and I don't work on Sundays!!

Guys quick question, I'm after a side board which our local home store has on display. With regards to furniture so they normally only discount ex display or stuff you can order?

I know the side board I'm after is not guaranteed to be in the sale but I'm wondering whether its worth the early start to pop down?

In the next stores near here they usually have some furniture reduced days before the sale starts dont know weather thats just to make room for the sale or its store pacific but might be worth checking also you have to take it away yourself no home delivery

If that's the case then it might just be ex display stuff rather than brand new. Hmmm I might pop down during the week and ask the question and see if a staff member will tell me anything.
