Littlewoods 3 failed delivery dates. Very angry!

  • The service has been very poor.

I have actually been given 3 estimated dates and all have now passed. I am expecting to recieve a 4th estimated delivery date when I call later on.

I reiterate, When I spoke to the phone operatives, they promised me faithfully, the last time I called last Wednesday, that He would make it His duty to make sure I had the bed within 3 working Days so that has now passed. I hope the phonecalls are recorded because I did not come on here to lie!

The status has been that the bed is on the truck since last week and still no delivery so I can't make any plans to be away for extended periods of time in case I do not recieve a phonecall, which the phone operative advised. He specifically said I may not get a phonecall so try to have someone at home all the time, Obviously it's just me and my child so it presents a problem.

It is clearly a problem Littlewoods, I see 2 other people have already commented here on this thread which has only been live since last night.

I appreciate alot of people recieve their orders successfully but reminding me of this is pretty insensitive and irrelevant to my problem Today.

So, 4th delivery date estimate later on Today, I will update this thread on any progress, if any and any responses I recieve from Littlewoods team.

    Just updating:

I was at home when a card was put through my door (no knocks at all)
The bed had been left with a neighbour a few doors up. Didn't really present as a problem until I realised the neighbour is elderly and couldn't help me lift the absolute tonne weight. It came in 3 parts. Mattress was fine, small box was okay but very heavy indeed then another box which is the size of a wardrobe. I've moved a fridge freezer myself and the bed was much heavier, ouch, poor back!!
Yeah, I had to drag that back home and up my steps into my garden then indoors.
I would wonder why they didn't knock but then i suppose they were probably expecting an earful. I'm bemused why items that require 2 men to carry it are left with neighbours...some people are single you know Littlewoods.
Ah well, got the bed!! Won't be ordering again, don't need the hassle or the backache to be fair.

I have had several problems with littlewoods it's not always the customer that is wrong

    Unfortunately most of the

problems have been caused by yourself, not Littlewoods.

Your first mistake was getting rid of the cot bed before you had the replacement. That is entirely your own fault, and you can't blame Littlewoods for that. You would have put your son our of his routine anyway.

Your second mistake is to keep waiting in. Unless they give you a specific date for the delivery, why on earth would you sit around the house?

If the item is on the truck for delivery, presumably it may turn up in the next few days. You can chase Littlewoods (or presumably the agent) to find out where it's gone. You may have rights for a refund and be able to buy elsewhere, but that will almost certainly take longer than waiting for the bed.

Nobody seems to care at littlewoods about parcels not reaching the customer and they blamed me when I ordered item using collect plus that no collection number was sent. Wish I never opened an account with them now.

What did they exactly say, Its highly unlikely they blamed you.

Did they give you 0845 270 9888 to call? They will give you the release code.
