O2 Refurb Iphone 4S/Upgrade deals

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone had heard if there were any Iphone 4S's refurbs being offered on upgrades on O2. I previously had an Iphone 3G refurb and my contract is now ended (On simplicity at the mo) and I was looking to upgrade.

I was also wondering what sort of deals are O2 offering for existing Iphone customers in terms of upgrades/sweeteners when contract ends.

As a rough yardstick, nearly 2 years ago, I got offered a free Iphone 3G refurb, 500 anytime minutes and unlimited texts and data for 35 quid a month on a 18 month contract.

I was just interested to know what sort of deals people have been offered now so I can have a bit of wrangling room!

I believe it is still to early for this - the refurbs are going out as insurance replacements, and there is no other newer model available, and they won;t wish to depress the marketed with a cheaper alternative. The refurbs will appear as a network-supplied option when the iPhone 5 is out, and will probably take the place of the 3GS...

The next iPhone is rumoured to be released in september, the best time to get a deal will likely be between the Iphone 5 being announced and actually being on sale, as people will tend to hold off on buying a phone to get the new one.

Just got offerred a 16GB refurb Iphone4s, with 600 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited o2 to o2 calls and 500Mb of data on a 18 month contract for 42 quid a month-Anyone offerred the same/a better deal?
