Iceland £10 off IN-STORE voucher

Options
Just had a letter this morning to explain the Home Shopping sevice is closing on the 22nd April (there is more about this on the Iceland codes thread)

Enclosed with the letter is a £10 voucher to use in-store when you spend £40.00 or more, this expires on the 8th May 2005, and can be used if you shop in store and have Iceland deliver the food..this service is NOT stopping.

I would imagine everyone who has ever made a on-line order should receive a voucher soon. If not the telephone number to query why is 01244 830100, Iceland Foods, Second Avenue, Deeside Industrial Park, Deeside, Flintshire, CH5 2NW.

they will still home deliver for you if you shop instore, minimum spend of £25, I know that means that we won't be able to use the online vouchers, but maybe a few thousand people using a £10 discount voucher every week has lowered the profit margin slightly ;)

there was mention on another thread of Iceland stopping hundreds of lines and those lines being sold at a cutprice instore, well I belive that sale is starting today, so maybe some bargains to be had there :D

I've said it before, and I'll say it again:

If any company had half a brain (and most of the supermarkets these days outsource their Information Technology out which isn't very smart), they could build a couple of check-digits into a voucher system that would stop anyone using them unless they had the correct customer number and/or postcode etc. (Translating an old saying: "penny wise pound foolish").
