Omg make sure the life insurance is on your list for £7.00 your kids would be grateful (god forbid) anything happens to you and your partner. Always amazes me how many people neglect this for the sake of under a tenner a month yet have insurance for there teeth or pets

i know it's at the top of my to do list, it's not a case of we don't want to pay it, we canceled our last plan as it was a mixture of life and health insurance and we decided it wasn't for us and have yet to get round to reinstating it, what gets me is people who don't pay it but have sky or really expensive broadband i don't think life insurance should be the first thing to go.

    -washing lines full
    -surveys done
-checked quidco have £1.68 in my next payment
-should prob go look at insurance again ;)

Seen the loveliest fireplace in a local auction for tonight soooo tempted to go and bid as i bet it goes for a pitiance however i would just be storing it away for several years with no need for it, hmmmm i know i should wait but sometimes my common sense doesn't work.

Good day today no spending and no fireplace sadly but thats for the best.

    current total £3909.16 !!!

My laptop charger finally died this morning so I can't use it for a few days. Prob a good thing since I tend to buy things online.

So a spends day today hubby will order me a charger tonight I've been saying I need one for awhile and he priced them so I'm expecting that to be £20, need milk and squash will get mil to get it while I'm in speech therapy to that will prob be £2.50ish.

Not much else planned today other than cleaning and sticking to the meal plan.

Fancy seeing you here :D Good luck with saving for your plot. I have an overpay diary which is actually now a savings diary as decided we needed some financial backing before I paid the mortgage company off.

Groceries (as you know) is an area in which I'm desperate to reduce our outgoings !!

Hello :) I actually just seen your diary before I noticed u posted on mine, will have a read threw tonight as it looks kinda long :rotfl:

On the groceries front as u know I have tooth ache, well I couldn't even eat dinner last night then I was starving, so off I went to Tesco for the miller lights, spent £4.30 and paid with a bag on penny's from my bag and the change in my purse :rotfl: got a few bags of value crisps (I love these just as much as the kids) and some reduced donuts, was playing a picnic today but it's abut wet :(. This does mean I'm already over budget cause I have a Tesco shop coming on 18th using a code, it's mainly a stock up as I needed beans and mince for the freezer/cupboards :o to be fair I really do but I prob don't need 10 tins of rice pudding or 6tins of custard or a bag of porridge but it will all be used at some point lol.

    Plan for today is

-wash clothes on Eco setting hang on clothes horse to dry
-stick to meal plan and adjust it since I laws are away on Sunday
-try to get out of this house but will avoid shops.
-no surveys as I'm still on my iPad and hubby's gonna have a look and see if he can fix my charger :)

I,m very excited for Monday when I will reach £4k!!!

    Spends so far £13.40

Been cleaning, found £2.20 in the bathroom, 20p in the livingroom and 38p in my bedroom, not sure having random money living about is a good thing but it is a nice surprise (kids found 10p in their room but they get to keep that) :p
