I'm with LLoyds but still waiting for a transfer I did on Friday :(

I for one will be happy when this does get rolled out to everyone. The most frustrating thing with payapl is the wait for your money. I really begrudge the extra fiver charge to get it that bit quickly!

I'm amazed I seem to be the chosen one, can't believe no one else has got this as yet, maybe its alphabetical, my surname starts with a B.
Anyway for any sceptics here a copy of the confirming withdrawl email received today.Obviously I've removed some of the personal details

You recently requested a withdrawal of funds to your bank account

    Dear ,
You requested that the following amount be withdrawn to your bank account:
    Requested withdrawal amount: £ GBP
    Bank account: Lloyds tsb x‐
    Transaction ID:

Funds will take up to 2 hours to appear in your bank account, but may take longer, depending on your bank.
As set out in our User Agreement withdrawal requests may be subject to review by PayPal to help maintain your safe use of the PayPal service. As a result, it may take longer than the estimated processing time for your withdrawal to reach your bank account.
    Yours sincerely,
    PayPal

As has been said, it was announced a while back, they're expecting to have it rolled out to all PayPal users 'by the end of the summer':

A new world record this morning.
Paid some cash from my Paypal account into my bank at 9.25am. Logged into my bank at 9.45am and it was already there!
    Brilliant!

One question I have, will this work the other way, if paypal do a reversal without sufficient funds in place, will they just do so direct from the bank account or will they need permission to do so?
